CORRECTION - just before the 10-minute mark, I had a slip of the tongue and inadvertently called the Diocese of Vincennes the Diocese of South Bend. Father Badin gifted the land that Notre Dame sits on to Vincennes. The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend wouldn’t be established until 1857. Thanks for bearing with me there!
